Stood a pretty little demon blowing his top

He had steam in his soul for the one he loved so

He had death on his mind 'cause my demon let him go

He gonna run through the world 'til we understand his pain

Somebody help him get his demon home again

He made the sky turn green, he made the grass turn red

He even put pretty hair on Grandma’s bald head

He made the moon back up, he even pushed back time

He took the frutti out of tutti, he had the devil drinkin' wine

This demon felt good, 'cause he finally got across

To the crazy little demon that the woman still the boss

He pushed back, brought in afternoon

He even made Leap Year jump over the moon

He took the Fourth of july and put it in May

He took this morning for a drive yesterday

Giù nella valle su una roccia nebbiosa

Stava in piedi un demone piuttosto piccolo che si soffiava la parte superiore

Fuoco nei suoi occhi e fumo dalla testa

Devi essere davvero cool per sentire le parole che ha detto

Aveva vapore nell'anima per colui che amava così tanto

Aveva in mente la morte perché il mio demone lo ha lasciato andare

Correrà per il mondo finché non capiremo il suo dolore

Qualcuno lo aiuti a riportare a casa il suo demone

Ha fatto diventare verde il cielo, ha fatto diventare rossa l'erba

Ha persino messo dei bei capelli sulla testa calva della nonna

Ha fatto risalire la luna, ha persino spinto indietro il tempo

Ha tolto i frutti da tutti, ha fatto bere vino al diavolo

Questo demone si sentiva bene, perché alla fine l'ha attraversato

Al piccolo demone pazzo che la donna è ancora il capo

Giù nella valle sulla roccia nebbiosa

Puoi ancora sentire il demone che si fa saltare in aria

Ha respinto, portato nel pomeriggio

Ha persino fatto saltare sulla luna l'anno bisestile
