What cause have I to feel glad?

I’ve built my life on judgement and causing pain.

I don’t know those eyes I see in the bloodstained chrome.

Now everything that I’ve had

and everything I’ve known have been thrown away.

And with time I’ve come to find this isn’t my home.

I’ve stroked the fire, seen more pain that you can know.

The tears of the broken have washed away my soul.

Pushed by desire to change the way my stream will flow,

now I’ve awoken, and I’m taking back control.

I try my best to block out the screams,

but they’re haunting me in my dreams.

Please break my shackles,

I want it to stop.

I man these wretched machines.

Day in, day out, the grinding wears on my brain.

Undermining my sanity, making me question my reality.

But life is not as it seems.

Should I take a chance of freedom and throw it all down the drain?

I’ve been imprisoned, please burn my transgressions away.

Che motivo ho per sentirmi felice?

Ho costruito la mia vita sul giudizio e sul causare dolore.

Non riconosco quegli occhi che vedo nelle cromature macchiate di sangue.

Ora tutto quello che ho avuto

e tutto quello che ho conosciuto è stato buttato via.

E con il tempo ho scoperto che questa non è casa mia.

Ho accarezzato il fuoco, visto più dolore di quanto tu possa conoscere.

Le lacrime dei distrutti hanno lavato via la mia anima.

Spinto dal desiderio di cambiare il modo in cui fluirà il mio stream,

ora mi sono svegliato e sto riprendendo il controllo.

Faccio del mio meglio per bloccare le urla,

ma mi perseguitano nei miei sogni.

Per favore, rompi le mie catene,

Voglio che si fermi.

Gestisco queste miserabili macchine.

Giorno dopo giorno, il macinare logora il mio cervello.

Minando la mia sanità mentale, facendomi mettere in discussione la mia realtà.

Ma la vita non è come sembra.

Dovrei prendere una probabilità di libertà e buttare tutto in malora?
