She wanders through the woodlands

Summoned by prophecy

Shadows appearing

And voices are nearing

Hush

The hunters and the kingsman

Have captured two beasts of fire

She hurries in freeing

One innocent being

Born of light

Destined to find

The wyvern of the wind

Forever entwined

A moment’s doubt

But inside her eyes

He sees the fire

They take to the sky

Rise again

Another waits in chains

Full of despair

Another waits

To feel the air

At last

The castle looms before them

A shade of the midnight sky

Stay in the shadow

And out of the star glow

Rush

To conjure a diversion

There is no more time to waste

Breaking the stone wall

And into the nightfall

Born of light

Destined to find

The keepers of the sky

Forever entwined

Side by side

Together they soar

Above the clouds

They make for the shore

Free again

A way to start anew

And breathe the sky

So let us fly

To newfound heights

A snap, an arrow takes flight

The kingman’s returned to fight

The girl is struck and falls from the sky

The wyvern dives for her from up high

The kingsman reaches for his quiver again

Just one more shot, and it’ll be the end

But to his surprise, the dragon won’t fight

The bow drops soft at his side

The beast won’t kill, he starts to realize

As the blindfold falls from his eyes

The child of light

A blind sacrifice

The keepers of the sky

Were worthy the price

A moment’s grief

But inside her eyes

Returns the fire

Again she will rise
