Everything was so clear

How I wish that I was there

In my dreams there are great mountains

We fly above clouds

Staring out of windows

There are no stars

Long ago the earth was green

Imagine what it must have been

I always wonder why I’m here

I have no fear from what’s out there

I want to feel, I want fly

I want to sing «I am free», in the sky

Someone believe me and don’t ask «why?»

There comes a time when a man must die

And when I’m gone, don’t be afraid

I will be watching from the other side

Era tutto così chiaro

Come vorrei essere lì

Nei miei sogni ci sono grandi montagne

Voliamo sopra le nuvole

Fissare fuori dalle finestre

Non ci sono stelle

Tanto tempo fa la terra era verde

Immagina cosa deve essere stato

Mi chiedo sempre perché sono qui

Non ho paura di ciò che c'è là fuori

Voglio sentire, voglio volare

Voglio cantare «Io sono libero», nel cielo

Qualcuno mi creda e non si chieda «perché?»

Arriva un momento in cui un uomo deve morire

E quando me ne sarò andato, non aver paura

Guarderò dall'altra parte
