while all the crowds were still away

I realized the attraction

to temporary smiles and holidays.

boardwalk dreams all boarded up

another souvenir made to be broken.

chasing the sun isn’t my kind of fun.

I’d rather sit and catch snowflakes on my tongue.

when summers gone I won’t be sad

as you cling on to all the good times that you’ve had

'cause being alone isn’t really all that bad.

dove le stagioni lo hanno chiuso.

ma se chiudi gli occhi

puoi quasi sentire i suoni delle folle passate.

un altro anno sarete tutti qui

innamorarsi e guardare tramonti e albe.

sarà magnifico e proprio quello che avevi pianificato

fino a domani arriva e hai detto i tuoi ultimi addii.

e perderai tempo

quindi resta a casa e saluta tutti con un arrivederci.

mentre tutta la folla era ancora lontana

Ho realizzato l'attrazione

a sorrisi temporanei e vacanze.

i sogni della passerella sono tutti chiusi

un altro souvenir fatto per essere rotto.

inseguire il sole non è il mio tipo di divertimento.

Preferirei sedermi e prendere i fiocchi di neve sulla mia lingua.
