Ascending in an elevator made of glass

I’m going way too fast in a cone-shaped transparent shaft

What could it be?

I don’t see, should it be me?

Peeiling itself as i get higher

Up in the air, soon at the top

This climbing greenhouse doesn’t seem to want to stop

And without dwelling mid-air

Toppling over, i’m beginning to stare

At the ground that’s getting near

I am gonna feel like this is more than ever real

When i hit the ground i’ll find that bed of mine

Which means i am in a dream

Better yet what is called real is another dream

Opens up the possibility to do some flying

I’m sort of trying

So i’m still inside the elevator

Keeping it and me afloat though somewhat strenuously

Now i do know that i’m in a dream

I’m the creator and i know what that means

I can peel right through this wall

So i begin to focus on

Dematerialize and reach the beyond

Starting to work, starting to slide

It’s taking too much effort, and it’s taking a while

I’m stuck half way through, tell me why

Because

I am in a dream, and this is more that ever real

When i hit the ground i’ll find that bed of mine

Which means;

Better yet what is called real is another dream

Got so much faith

In this lucid state

Some expectation fails me

(i'm so out of control, this was harder than i thought)

The view is great

And after all

It’s not so bad to be all flying with a lift around my weist

I am in a dream

I’m awake and pretty keen

To see just how far i can stretch

I can pull this silver chord

Better yet what is called real is another dream

If i ever had the will to find that bed of mine

Sbucciarsi mentre salgo

Su in aria, presto in alto

Questa serra rampicante non sembra volersi fermare

E senza soffermarsi a mezz'aria

Cadendo, comincio a fissare

Al terreno che si sta avvicinando

Mi sentirò come se fosse più che mai reale

Quando toccherò terra troverò quel mio letto

Il che significa che sono in un sogno

Meglio ancora, quello che viene chiamato reale è un altro sogno

Offre la possibilità di fare un po' di volo

Ci sto provando

Quindi sono ancora dentro l'ascensore

Mantenerlo e me a galla anche se un po' faticosamente

Ora so che sono in un sogno

Sono il creatore e so cosa significa

Posso sbucciare attraverso questo muro

Quindi comincio a concentrarmi su

Dematerializzare e raggiungere l'aldilà

Inizio a lavorare, inizio a scivolare

Ci vuole troppo sforzo e ci vuole un po'

Sono bloccato a metà, dimmi perché

Perché

Sono in un sogno, e questo è più che mai reale

Quando toccherò terra troverò quel mio letto

In questo stato di lucidità

Qualche aspettativa mi delude

(sono così fuori controllo, è stato più difficile di quanto pensassi)

La vista è fantastica

E dopo tutto

Non è così male essere tutti in volo con un ascensore intorno alla mia vita

Sono in un sogno

Sono sveglio e abbastanza entusiasta

Per vedere fino a che punto posso allungarmi

Posso tirare questo accordo d'argento

Sono in un sogno

Meglio ancora, quello che viene chiamato reale è un altro sogno

Se mai avessi avuto la voglia di trovare quel mio letto
