Yesterday I took the city with my friends

but we were walking down the highest road I’ve ever been

with the sun applying tan across our faces

we wander down the town

but we seen so many places

and as the weather left to bring a new horizon

We saw buildings in the sky

We thought we never find them

But it’s leaving light behind us

we were the only ones left to find this

and we will go

where nobody can find us

I’ll leave you in the morning light

holding lighters to the sky

let’s escape into the night

ma stavamo camminando lungo la strada più alta che abbia mai visto

con il sole che abbronza i nostri volti

girovaghiamo per la città

ma abbiamo visto così tanti posti

e come il tempo lasciava portare un nuovo orizzonte

Abbiamo visto edifici nel cielo

Pensavamo di non trovarli mai

Ma sta lasciando la luce dietro di noi

eravamo gli unici rimasti a trovarlo

e noi andremo

dove nessuno può trovarci

tenendo accendini al cielo
