Salvation -

He was despised and rejected by men

A man of suffering and acquainted with disease

He was despised as one from whom men hide their face

And we didn’t respect him

Surely he has borne our sickness and carried our suffering

But he was pierced for our transgressions

He was crushed for our iniquities

The punishment that brought our peace was on him

And by his wounds we are healed

All we like sheep have gone astray

Everyone is turning his own way

And the Lord has placed on him the iniquity of us all

He was oppressed

Yet when he was afflicted

He didn’t open his mouth

As a lamb that is led to the slaughter

And as a sheep that before its shearers is mute

He didn’t open his mouth

Although he had done no violence

Neither was there any deceit in his mouth

In his mouth

My righteous servant will justify many

By the knowledge of himself

And he will bear their iniquities

'cause he poured out his soul to death

And was numbered with the transgressors

Yet he bore the sin of many

And made intercession for the transgressors

We are healed

All we like sheep have gone astray

Everyone is turning his own way

Fu disprezzato e rifiutato dagli uomini

Un uomo che soffre e conosce la malattia

Era disprezzato come uno a cui gli uomini nascondono la faccia

E noi non lo rispettavamo

Sicuramente ha sopportato la nostra malattia e portato la nostra sofferenza

Ma fu trafitto per le nostre trasgressioni

Fu schiacciato per le nostre iniquità

La punizione che ha portato la nostra pace è stata su di lui

E dalle sue ferite siamo guariti

Tutte le pecore che ci piacciono si sono smarrite

Ognuno sta girando a modo suo

E il Signore ha posto su di lui l'iniquità di tutti noi

È stato oppresso

Eppure quando era afflitto

Non ha aperto bocca

Come un agnello condotto al macello

E come una pecora che davanti ai suoi tosatori è muta

Non ha aperto bocca

Anche se non aveva fatto violenza

Né c'era alcun inganno nella sua bocca

Nella sua bocca

Il mio servitore giusto giustificherà molti

Con la conoscenza di se stesso

E sopporterà le loro iniquità

perché ha riversato la sua anima fino alla morte

Ed è stato annoverato tra i trasgressori

Eppure ha portato il peccato di molti

E fece intercessione per i trasgressori

Siamo guariti

Tutte le pecore che ci piacciono si sono smarrite

Ognuno sta girando a modo suo

Il Signore ha posto su di lui l'iniquità di tutti noi

Fu disprezzato e rifiutato dagli uomini

Un uomo che soffre e conosce la malattia
