In a hole in the ground there was a hobbit

With trees and grass all around

A pint of beer talking with friends

And sometimes

Some news from the world outside

Till something changed him inside

From the shire he left

But not searching for adventures

From a world with no enemy

From a world with no tears

Where all the good things seem still alive

He doesn’t care what happens in other places

He lives in happyness wouldn’t understand Middle-Earth

For the first time he knows pain and suffring with dwarves and elves

Rmembering his house with its fireside

Something wrong in every step

But he just knows one day he’ll come again

From the shire he left

From a world with no tears

Where all the good things seem still alive

Con alberi ed erba tutt'intorno

Una pinta di birra a parlare con gli amici

E qualche volta

Qualche notizia dal mondo esterno

Finché qualcosa non lo ha cambiato dentro

Dalla contea se ne andò

Ma non alla ricerca di avventure

Da un mondo senza nemici

Da un mondo senza lacrime

Dove tutte le cose belle sembrano ancora vive

Non gli importa cosa succede in altri luoghi

Vive nella felicità che non capirebbe la Terra di Mezzo

Per la prima volta conosce il dolore e la sofferenza con nani ed elfi

Ricordando la sua casa con il suo caminetto

Qualcosa che non va in ogni passaggio

Ma sa solo che un giorno verrà di nuovo

Dalla contea se ne andò

Ma non alla ricerca di avventure

Da un mondo senza nemici
