Oh laughin' lightly it was night time

She held my hand & she took me down

While askin' strangers for the right time

We walked outside the leering lights of town

And slowly as it dawned on me that I’d never be the same

I bit my lip so hard it bled and I softly called her name

With hands as smooth as morning raindrops

She soaked my body head to toe

She asked me «Now?»

and I said «Not yet, luv…»

«But when it’s time you’ll be the first to know…»

And soon the man inside me quickly surfaced to the top

And cryin' out for help I found it much too late to stop

With eyes as wide as lighthouse searchlights

I tried my best to act demure

But she could not contain her laughter

As she told me «All that glitters is not pure…»

And knowing that for certain

It was lost upon the ground

Oh ridendo leggermente, era notte

Mi ha tenuto la mano e mi ha portato giù

Mentre chiedi agli estranei il momento giusto

Abbiamo camminato fuori dalle luci maligne della città

E pian piano mi è venuto in mente che non sarei mai stato lo stesso

Mi sono morso il labbro così forte da sanguinare e ho chiamato dolcemente il suo nome

Con mani lisce come gocce di pioggia mattutina

Ha inzuppato il mio corpo dalla testa ai piedi

Mi ha chiesto «Adesso?»

e io dissi «Non ancora, amore...»

«Ma quando sarà il momento sarai il primo a saperlo...»

E presto l'uomo dentro di me è emerso rapidamente in cima

E chiedendo aiuto ho scoperto che era troppo tardi per smettere

Con occhi larghi come i riflettori di un faro

Ho fatto del mio meglio per comportarmi con pudore

Ma non riuscì a contenere la sua risata

Come mi ha detto lei: «Non è tutto ciò che luccica puro...»

E saperlo per certo

Si è perso per terra

Spero che lo trovi facile
