Breathless

Skinless

Wrought from Iron

Walking towards a tunnel of darkness

Light was my enemy

In search of what we cannot seem to find

Marvelous yet sinister

We held the fire

A fire to burn for eternity

Hindered by chains

And whipped by ice

We marched, we fell, into insanity

Calming aurora

A Glimmer of Peace

In death awaited, A fantasy

Shadows that claimed

Our souls and lives

The witnesses, will never be found

Haunted, distorted

Images we seek

Bleached bones

And skeletons

On these deserted plains

But despair we averted

The ground we claimed

Onward towards victory

From hell we came

The blank stare we faced

Burned within our minds

Immortality we sought

And it endeavored to pretend

But nothing could we find

Our lives flash before us

Amidst the darkest hours

Time seems to end

Haunted

Distorted

Bleach Bones

Skeletons

Hellish Screams

Uncertainty

Arcane terror

Left to die

For a cause

Inhuman cries

From below

Tainted lives

After life

Visionary

Facing our despair

We conquered this façade

Once bleak and lonely nights

Now filled with glorious light

For reward without the risk

Counts nothing towards your legacy

Amidst these dark ages

Time seems to end

Lifted above, a specter of observation

To observe what we create and destroy

And find what brings us to our destination

Like Gods of a system, to design and employ
