When I was a little bird

Mama told me;

If you want to fly,

You must reach for the sky

So I aimed high

And I learned to fly

When a sudden fear came over me

What if I fall from the sky

Little bird, you worry too much

The clouds are made of cotton,

Soft, so soft

They will catch you,

And they will carry you home

Mama will be waiting

For her loved one

Now I am a big bird

Big and strong

I’ve flown to the other side

Of the world and back home

I’ve been through storms

I’ve seen it all

But I’m scared I will fall
