Knights went on the attack with raised spears and banners

They bravely overcame rampage of the arrows shower

But crashed, like storm wave, against the wall of shields

Enemy blades slashed iron and bones in the battlefield

Swords and axes were raised above the shining helmets

Ranks of knights stood like rock to protect their standards

Peaks were ruthlessly dropped riders from the horses

Rushing with empty saddles from enemies forces

Again and again knights are attacked and retreated

They silently closed the ranks, filling breaches in the place of their fallen

comrades

But they were inspired, because the king himself fought in that ranks!

I cavalieri andarono all'attacco con lance e stendardi sollevati

Hanno coraggiosamente superato la furia della pioggia di frecce

Ma si è schiantato, come un'onda di tempesta, contro il muro di scudi

Le lame nemiche tagliarono ferro e ossa sul campo di battaglia

Spade e asce erano sollevate sopra gli elmi lucenti

Schiere di cavalieri si ergevano come roccia per proteggere i loro standard

I picchi sono stati spietatamente lasciati cadere i cavalieri dai cavalli

Correre con le selle vuote dalle forze nemiche

Ancora e ancora i cavalieri vengono attaccati e ritirati

Hanno chiuso silenziosamente i ranghi, riempiendo le brecce al posto dei loro caduti

compagni

Ma sono stati ispirati, perché il re stesso ha combattuto in quei ranghi!
