Scrupulosity - Attic

Alice was tossing and turning in bed, unable to fall asleep

All that she had witnessed that day had deeply agitated her

And while she still saw her fellow sister’s scalded arms in her mind’s eye,

a feeling of guilt arose

Voice:

«You have sinned as well»

An affair with a young man from the village led to more than just a broken vow

She knew she was pregnant

Fear was slowly turning into despair as she heard a strange and evil voice

talking to her, whispering in her ear, putting her faith to the test…

Voice:

«…Listen!»

Alice si girava e si girava nel letto, incapace di addormentarsi

Tutto ciò a cui aveva assistito quel giorno l'aveva profondamente agitata

E mentre vedeva ancora con gli occhi della mente le braccia ustionate della sua consorella,

sorse un senso di colpa

Voce:

«Anche tu hai peccato»

Una relazione con un giovane del villaggio ha portato a qualcosa di più di un semplice voto rotto

Sapeva di essere incinta

La paura si stava lentamente trasformando in disperazione quando udì una voce strana e malvagia

parlandole, sussurrandole all'orecchio, mettendo alla prova la sua fede...
