Made this seed of mine grow tall

A tree so strong;

it’s all around me now

But every little thing I do is poison to these tender roots

The ways I try to make it grow;

the branches break and leaves will blow

New rain.

Waterfall

Made this tree of mine grow apples

Flowers fall;

they’re all around me now

Life is gone.

This tree of mine is just hanging on a hope

You say if I really want the leaves to show on it’s own

Leave it alone and just let it grow

Ha fatto crescere questo mio seme

Un albero così forte;

è tutto intorno a me ora

Ma ogni piccola cosa che faccio è veleno per queste tenere radici

I modi in cui cerco di farlo crescere;

i rami si spezzano e le foglie soffieranno

Nuova pioggia.

Cascata

Ho fatto coltivare mele a questo mio albero

I fiori cadono;

sono tutti intorno a me adesso

La vita è andata.

Questo mio albero è solo appeso a una speranza

Dici se voglio davvero che le foglie si mostrino da sole
