Buried in the fields

I see the fields under a peaceful sky

I wonder if we ever realized

That on this ground here in these fields

A lot went down back in our history

Many men stood here on this land

And fought their battles 'till the bitter end

They came here to free us from tyranny

They gave their lives for you and me

oNw the grass is green and the land has healed

But i know there’s a lot buried in these fields

The war that took place here on this land

The ghost of the past now in gods hands

The tyrants that once rised and fell

Now strinkend after life in hell

A time of fear that we once knew

When tanks shook this ground

When the eagles flew

When the guns were fired and the bombs rained down

Death and dispair lay on this ground

Now the grass is green and the land has healed

But i know there’s a lot buried in these fields

Now that the time has come and gone

The land has changed ist ugly form

The pasture now grows straight and neat

But don’t forget what happened in these fields

Sepolto nei campi

Vedo i campi sotto un cielo sereno

Mi chiedo se ci siamo mai resi conto

Che su questo terreno qui in questi campi

Molte cose sono rimaste indietro nella nostra storia

Molti uomini stavano qui su questa terra

E hanno combattuto le loro battaglie fino alla fine

Sono venuti qui per liberarci dalla tirannia

Hanno dato la vita per te e per me

ora l'erba è verde e la terra è guarita

Ma so che c'è molto sepolto in questi campi

La guerra che ha avuto luogo qui su questa terra

Il fantasma del passato ora nelle mani di Dio

I tiranni che un tempo si alzavano e cadevano

Ora strizza l'occhio alla vita all'inferno

Un periodo di paura che un tempo conoscevamo

Quando i carri armati hanno scosso questo terreno

Quando le aquile volavano

Quando i cannoni sono stati sparati e le bombe sono piovute

Morte e disperazione giacevano su questo terreno

Ora l'erba è verde e la terra è guarita

Ma so che c'è molto sepolto in questi campi

Ora che il tempo è arrivato e passato

La terra ha cambiato la sua brutta forma

Il pascolo ora cresce dritto e pulito

Ma non dimenticare cosa è successo in questi campi
