Over in the Meadow - Barney

Over in the meadow, in the sand, in the sun,

Lived an old mother frog and her little froggy one.

"Croak," said the mother,

"I croak," said the one so they croaked

And they croaked in the sand, in the sun.

Over in the meadow, in the stream so blue,

Lived an old mother fish and her little fishes two.

"Swim," said the mother,

"We swim," said the two,

So they swam and they swam in the stream so blue.

Over in the meadow, on the branch of a tree,

Lived an old mother bird and her little birdies three.

"Sing," said the mother,

"We sing," said the three, so they sang,

And they sang on the branch of the tree.

Nel prato, nella sabbia, al sole,

Vivevano una vecchia rana madre e la sua piccola rana.

"Croak", disse la madre,

"Io gracchio", disse quello così loro gracchiarono

E gracchiavano nella sabbia, al sole.

Nel prato, nel ruscello così blu,

Viveva una vecchia madre pesce e i suoi due pesciolini.

"Nuota", disse la madre,

"Noi nuotiamo", dissero i due,

Così nuotarono e nuotarono nel ruscello così blu.

Laggiù nel prato, sul ramo di un albero,

Viveva una vecchia mamma uccello e i suoi uccellini tre.

"Canta", disse la madre,

"Cantiamo", dissero i tre, così cantarono,

E cantavano sul ramo dell'albero.
