Once I lived in darkness

Then Jesus came the way, the life

Giving me pleasure, pain and pride

Guilty, shame and emptiness

Lord a dead man lived inside me

But then you came into my night

Flooded it with your truth and light

Your gentle hands restored my sight

To save my life you were crucified

I’m not gonna sing about

So if you’re living in darkness

And if you can’t see the light

And everything you try and do
