The Brighter the Light, the Darker the Shadow - Bloodthorn

In the far horizon a shapeless darkness filled the sky

And slowly with a faint whispering, making the air putrid and unbreathable

The nightshadow came crawling…

The ground was covered by fallen men, their bodies mangled and torn

Upon the Hillside the Final stand, and they knew they would come home no more

A deafening thunder shook the earth and lightning split open the sky

Rain fell like blood when the heavens turned black and the sun slowly withered

and died

Engulfing the fallen and standing alike, killing the living and waking the dead

A darkness so black it would make night seem like day covered the hills and the

plains

The hearts of the mortals, all but the brightest, turned to stone black as the

night

But the brighter the light, the darker the shadow that consumes the source of all life

Trapped by the evil he set out to conquer, his soul now cried out in vain

His mind was twisted and lost in the kingdom where madness and suffering reign

Deformed by the darkness the Nightshade brought

Condemned to be killed but never to die

Forever in torment, chained to the throne

Where the Nightshwadow rules with death on it’s side

Nel lontano orizzonte un'oscurità informe riempiva il cielo

E lentamente con un lieve sussurro, rendendo l'aria putrida e irrespirabile

L'ombra notturna venne strisciando...

Il terreno era coperto da uomini caduti, i loro corpi maciullati e lacerati

Sulla collina, la finale resiste e sapevano che non sarebbero più tornati a casa

Un tuono assordante scosse la terra e un fulmine squarciò il cielo

La pioggia cadeva come sangue quando il cielo diventava nero e il sole lentamente si seccava

e morì

Inghiottendo i caduti e restando in piedi allo stesso modo, uccidendo i vivi e risvegliando i morti

Un'oscurità così nera da far sembrare la notte come il giorno copre le colline e il

pianure

I cuori dei mortali, tutti tranne i più luminosi, divennero neri come la pietra

notte

Ma più luminosa è la luce, più scura è l'ombra che consuma la fonte di tutta la vita

Intrappolato dal male che si proponeva di conquistare, la sua anima ora gridava invano

La sua mente era contorta e persa nel regno dove regnano follia e sofferenza

Deformato dall'oscurità portata da Nightshade

Condannato ad essere ucciso ma mai a morire

Per sempre in tormento, incatenato al trono

Dove il Nightshwadow governa con la morte dalla sua parte
