Fred - Busman's Holiday

Fred woke up in a hospital bed and noticed that he had been dead for two days

straight and no one had noticed.

The life he leads is bleak.

And now he is too

weak to get out of bed at night to watch the late night showing of «The Price Is Right».

Pam was Fred Ohm’s former wife who had tragically taken her life when she found

out that she was adopted.

Fred woke up that day and found his wife had passed

away on the kitchen floor.

She said, «If one does not enjoy one’s life then

what’s it for?»

Fred knew that he had ran himself right into a wall.

Now with dust in his eyes

he finds that he finally realizes what now is gone.

He can’t move on.

He sits there and cries.

Sales was all Fred had ever known: to sell things with accents of chrome and

leather seats and broken engines.

Fred would often say, «You can always find a

way to sell something that some one doesn’t need."With emaciated promises he

often would proceed.

Dan was Fred Ohm’s former son and the day Dan turned 21 he told his father he

was leaving.

Fred would yell and scream that all young Daniel’s dreams should

be cast right out of his mind.

«That book you made only in a day is not worth

your time!»

The nurse walked into the room then cursed out the window to all the protesters

outside waving their signs 'round.

«Jesus freaks,"she said, «get into their

head that stem cells are a sin.

The stem cells that they talk about could save

your kids.»

Fred for out of his cot and walked down the stairs into the parking lot.

And, there in a tent, his savior had sent him something that he couldn’t

ignore.

It was the lord.

Fred had found what he had lost back when he was a boy.

And now with a ghost in

his heart he finds that he’s finally part of something that’s whole.

He now grows old and he now can die.

modo di vendere qualcosa di cui qualcuno non ha bisogno." Con emaciate promesse lui

spesso procedeva.

Dan era l'ex figlio di Fred Ohm e il giorno in cui Dan ha compiuto 21 anni lo ha detto a suo padre

partiva.

Fred avrebbe urlato e urlato che tutti i sogni del giovane Daniel avrebbero dovuto

ignorare.

Era il signore.

Fred aveva ritrovato ciò che aveva perso quando era un ragazzo.

E ora con un fantasma dentro

il suo cuore scopre di essere finalmente parte di qualcosa che è intero.

Ora invecchia e ora può morire.
