Performed where ever we could, we did it all with no road maps

Toured all over the country, driving all night with red eyes

We failed, got rejected, stayed persistent, that’s the lesson

Studied the legends, Large Pro, Big Daddy Kane, no half stepping

When Things Fall Apart go back to your Roots, for Love I’m always Questing

Try to find the Tipping Point, it’s Game Theory, keep em guessing

We did our first album release in the basement of a bookstore

We never get discouraged we just go back to the lab and cook more

They say promos not paper, you’re getting exploited and screwed

We never asked for permission, attention is promo

Getting heard is the mission, some of my songs made no dough

We’ve had our sets cut, we’ve got kicked off of stage

We just nurtured the wrath, planned the path and channeled the rage
