Aphrodite's Winter - Cathedral

Frozen land mesmerised by her arcane mystery

Goddess of the underworld cold queen of lost beauty

Gazed upon earth’s battleground

At mankind’s misery

With her saddness came love’s death

As violence slowly siezed

Her wheeping tears of darkness crytallised the earth

As warmth turned colder, her grief chilled away all mirth

Frosted armies paused in war now wearing beards of snow

Perishing forevermore, her bite numbs to the bone

Housed in icy caves, men of peace rest in these times of woe

Shaking in glass coffins, waiting for the sun to glow

She cast her spell on earth and all emotion died

Her languid heart dulled the skies with love’s demise

She crystallised the earth with water from her eyes

A frozen sun now hangs above this land’s demise

Terra ghiacciata ipnotizzata dal suo mistero arcano

Dea degli inferi fredda regina della bellezza perduta

Contemplato il campo di battaglia della terra

Alla miseria dell'umanità

Con la sua tristezza venne la morte dell'amore

Mentre la violenza si impossessava lentamente

Le sue lacrime di oscurità hanno cristallizzato la terra

Quando il calore si è fatto più freddo, il suo dolore ha raffreddato tutta l'allegria

Gli eserciti ghiacciati si fermarono in guerra ora con indosso barbe di neve

Muore per sempre, il suo morso è insensibile all'osso

Alloggiati in grotte ghiacciate, gli uomini di pace riposano in questi tempi di dolore

Agitando in bare di vetro, aspettando che il sole si illumini

Ha lanciato il suo incantesimo sulla terra e tutte le emozioni sono morte

Il suo cuore languido offuscava i cieli con la fine dell'amore

Ha cristallizzato la terra con l'acqua dei suoi occhi

Un sole gelido ora incombe sopra la fine di questa terra
