It was the infinite love of the Son that made me an immigrant, 'cause

I wasn’t born into the Kingdom of Heaven

I was a child of the devil, a rebel living irreverent

I was bought at a price, my adoption was costly

God the Father put up His Son’s life and bought me

Huh, you never seen a price tag like that

To save my soul, Christ said, «Dad, I’ll be right back»

He took the ultimate plunge, just think about what He’s done

He took up my guilt of sin so I could be called «son»

Now by His Spirit of adoption, God is my Father

When I stop at the thought, I get rocked that I can call Him «Abba»

I’m no afterthought, God’s been invested

Before the foundations of Earth, I was predestined

To be amongst His sons that are resurrected

As we eagerly await for the body and Earth’s redemption

In attesa del corpo e della redenzione della Terra
