Our Control

is out of our control,

why do we hold on,

when its out of our control,

Selfishness, runs ram-pit in my brain,

it holds on to everything,

trying to sustain the life it wants to lead.

the only problem is,

that’s the most damaging part of me.

unmask this, side of me that holds on to sexual immorality

Unmask this, side of me that holds on to the lies

the hate and the deceit I have hidden it,

behind a dark mask of control that leads me down

an empty road take it, take it,

the only good in me is you Jesus Christ Take it,

even though i know how humiliating it will be,

What is hidden in the dark,

shall be brought to the light

What can i compare to the beauty of your humility,

that of which only can be made equal

to when complimented by your Grace,

that comes when i wear this selfishness

so defiantly as a coward with a mask on my face.

But i desperately held on to everything,

everyone around me i tried to control

the outcome of every circumstance that life brought my way.

The money, the stress, the worry never seems to melt away

as i denied your every offer to take these burdens away.

Il nostro controllo

è fuori dal nostro controllo,

perché teniamo duro

L'egoismo, corre nel mio cervello,

si attacca a tutto,

cercando di sostenere la vita che vuole condurre.

l'unico problema è

questa è la parte più dannosa di me.

smaschera questo, il lato di me che si aggrappa all'immoralità sessuale

Smaschera questo, il lato di me che si aggrappa alle bugie

l'odio e l'inganno l'ho nascosto,

dietro una oscura maschera di controllo che mi porta giù

una strada vuota prendila, prendila,

l'unico bene in me sei tu Gesù Cristo Prendilo,

anche se so quanto sarà umiliante,

Cosa è nascosto nell'oscurità,

sarà portato alla luce

Cosa posso confrontare con la bellezza della tua umiltà,

quello di cui solo può essere reso uguale

a quando complimentato da Vostra Grazia,

che arriva quando indosso questo egoismo

in modo così provocatorio come un codardo con una maschera sulla faccia.

Ma mi sono aggrappato disperatamente a tutto,

tutti intorno a me ho cercato di controllare

il risultato di ogni circostanza che la vita mi ha portato.

I soldi, lo stress, le preoccupazioni non sembrano mai svanire

poiché negavo ogni tua offerta per portare via questi fardelli.

inseguendo il vento,

è tutto vano senza di lui,

è tutto vano senza di Lui rinnega te stesso,

prendi la tua croce e segui Cristo

Se provi a resistere alla tua vita, la perderai,
