Blame choices which were made on the way

On intrinsic voices which plead:

«It's not okay what you’re throwing away»

Immoral vices control whatever we do, wherever we go

Til we’re rendered lifeless and helpless et al

Now we ponder the end, did it justify the means and was is for naught?

We’re sinking down to new depths below
