Monday morning history, sixth grade buzzing around

One shy girl in the back of the room, hardly making a sound

Everyone responded, but the one girl in the back

She was still quite busy writing, trying to get on track

The teacher ambled back to her desk

The class fell silent as she spoke

Then they heard the teacher say
