Truly Madly Deeply - Day One

It was a windy day outside the cafe

He was drinking coffee, she was sipping Chardonnay

And the were both from different (murks ?) of life

Hers' a better life, his' a harder life

He walked his rhythm in worn leather shoes, the sole split

Down in an old leather jacket

She walked her rhythm in designer shoes expensive

Her style got it (bother ?) quite overdressed

And then it happened, looking at each other imagine us as lovers

Don’t ask said words, we only sat and sight

It felt right so stepped to her and said to her:

«Leave with me and compete with me

Leave with me and complete with me»

As they walked there was a silence between them

And silence is that counts for words

She looked into his eyes, romanticised his whole life

He had that look that he was foreign

Get up and smoke and spoke his words like a ballon

He was unshaven, (haired are craven ?)

For danger of a stranger, looked like he had it in his nature

And she said: «what are you thinking

What are you thinking about?

What are you thinking, what are you thinking about?

And he said:» the difference between thinking and talking

Is that talking is the expression of thought

And thought is the unexpressed idea

So if I know it is enough and (if I said it I’d’ve thought em .?

She said:" you can’t think enough"

He said:" you can think too much, you can think up a dream

But there’s no dream that you can touch"

«But I can touch you, so you must be true»

And said (it out ?)

Era una giornata ventosa fuori dal bar

Lui stava bevendo caffè, lei sorseggiando Chardonnay

Ed entrambi provenivano da una vita diversa (oscura?).

La sua è una vita migliore, la sua una vita più difficile

Ha camminato il suo ritmo con scarpe di pelle consumate, la suola divisa

Giù in una vecchia giacca di pelle

Ha seguito il suo ritmo con scarpe firmate costose

Il suo stile lo ha (fastidio?) piuttosto esagerato

E poi è successo, guardandoci immaginarci come amanti

Non chiedere parole dette, ci siamo solo seduti a guardare

Sembrava giusto così le si avvicinava e le diceva:

«Lascia con me e gareggia con me

Parti con me e completa con me»

Mentre camminavano c'era un silenzio tra di loro

E il silenzio è che conta per le parole

Lei lo guardò negli occhi, romanticizzò tutta la sua vita

Aveva lo sguardo che era straniero

Alzati e fuma e pronuncia le sue parole come un ballon

Non aveva la barba (i capelli sono vili?)

Per pericolo di uno sconosciuto, sembrava che ce l'avesse nella sua natura

E lei disse: «A cosa stai pensando

A cosa stai pensando?

A cosa stai pensando, a cosa stai pensando?

E ha detto:» la differenza tra pensare e parlare

È che parlare è l'espressione del pensiero

E il pensiero è l'idea inespressa

Quindi, se so che è abbastanza e (se l'avessi detto ci avrei pensato .?

Ha detto: "non puoi pensare abbastanza"

Ha detto: "puoi pensare troppo, puoi escogitare un sogno

Ma non c'è nessun sogno che tu possa toccare"

«Ma io ti posso toccare, quindi devi essere vero»

E ha detto (è uscito?)

Che posso toccarti, quindi devi essere sincero e dire (???)
