Beyond the Light - Deathrow

A long, long time he stayed in deathrow, now the chosen day has come

Lead by the ushers of the court, let the judgment be done

Long ago he saw the daylight without bars

But this is the last time his sun will rise

Walking towards the gallows, he knows the sling awaits him

From somewhere he hears music, it’s toneless sound makes him afraid

Suddenly the music stops, for him the sign to go

Was it the melody of death or of mercy he doesn’t now

Now he stands on the gallows, face towards the rope

He believes that after his fall, there’s no future, there’s no hope

Now his head’s fills the sling, he feels the agony growing

Executioner’s hand moves the gear-lever, first he hovers than he falls !

A sudden push through his body

With open eyes he stares at this fate

His lungs gasp for air, his brain explodes

The abyss of death comes much nearer

Hovering in darkness, his body dies

His mind exists, searching for light

A strange feeling, to fly through eternity

A glow in the darkness, it’s a light he now sees

The glowing light comes nearer

He flies into this soul-mirror

Now he can see his now phantom mind

And his life, that’s now passed behind

But a quickly growing dark vortex

Draws him away from his soul’s destruction

Now all his emotions and all of his thoughts

Dissolve in silence-into nothingness

Tanto, tanto tempo è rimasto nella morte, ora il giorno prescelto è arrivato

Guidati dagli uscieri del tribunale, che il giudizio sia fatto

Molto tempo fa ha visto la luce del giorno senza sbarre

Ma questa è l'ultima volta che il suo sole sorgerà

Camminando verso la forca, sa che la fionda lo aspetta

Da qualche parte in cui sente la musica, il suo suono senza tono lo spaventa

All'improvviso la musica si interrompe, per lui il segno di andare

Era la melodia della morte o della misericordia che ora non conosce

Ora è in piedi sulla forca, rivolto verso la corda

Crede che dopo la sua caduta non ci sia futuro, non ci sia speranza

Ora la sua testa riempie la fionda, sente crescere l'agonia

La mano del boia muove la leva del cambio, prima si libra che cade!

Una spinta improvvisa attraverso il suo corpo

Con gli occhi aperti fissa questo destino

I suoi polmoni respirano senza fiato, il suo cervello esplode

L'abisso della morte si avvicina molto

In bilico nell'oscurità, il suo corpo muore

La sua mente esiste, alla ricerca della luce

Una strana sensazione, volare attraverso l'eternità

Un bagliore nell'oscurità, è una luce che ora vede

La luce splendente si avvicina

Vola in questo specchio dell'anima

Ora può vedere la sua mente fantasma

E la sua vita, che ora è passata alle spalle

Ma un vortice oscuro in rapida crescita

Lo distoglie dalla distruzione della sua anima

Ora tutte le sue emozioni e tutti i suoi pensieri

Dissolvi nel silenzio nel nulla
