Introspector - Despite Exile

I forgot how I found myself

Stranded in this spasm of intellect

In search for the keys of uncharted portals

Lost in a prison without depth

Hollow and brittle chambers for my weakness to dwell

As I plunged in the abyss of consciousness

Empty lanes and paling impressions

Strangled by an unavoidable gaze

I kept evading until I found the thread

Until I reached the bottom of the maze

We are a crease suspended on tide

Abandoned at the mercy of events

Waiting for greater forces to seize us

Before we lose ourselves in the current

We’ll give up our sight by the clouded brims of time

To discover that there is no substance

To witness the answers contract into emblems

And feel them nesting outside our spectrum

The fragments of my identity

Confuse themselves within an infinite mirroring

Just as a set of apparitions reflecting from one to another

While all that’s essential slithers away with the light

Deprived of the center I never had

I merge with the surfaces that unfold throughout me

Delivered and devoid of nothing

Bloccato in questo spasmo dell'intelletto

Alla ricerca delle chiavi di portali inesplorati

Perso in una prigione senza profondità

Camere cave e fragili per far dimorare la mia debolezza

Corsie vuote e impressioni sbiadite

Strangolato da uno sguardo inevitabile

Ho continuato a evadere finché non ho trovato il thread

Fino a quando non ho raggiunto il fondo del labirinto

Siamo una piega sospesa sulla marea

Abbandonato alla mercé degli eventi

In attesa che forze maggiori ci afferrino

Prima di perderci nella corrente

Abbandoneremo la nostra vista per i brividi del tempo

Per scoprire che non c'è sostanza

Per testimoniare le risposte si contraggono in emblemi

E sentili nidificare al di fuori del nostro spettro

I frammenti della mia identità

Confondersi all'interno di un rispecchiamento infinito

Proprio come un insieme di apparizioni che si riflettono l'una nell'altra

Mentre tutto ciò che è essenziale scivola via con la luce

Privato del centro che non ho mai avuto

Mi unisco alle superfici che si dispiegano attraverso di me

Consegnato e privo di niente

Siamo una piega sospesa sulla marea

Abbandonato alla mercé degli eventi

In attesa che le forze della grattugia ci prendano

Prima di perderci nella corrente
