Ecocide - Earth Crisis

Silenced in the roar of the flames

After the screams and the dying, nothing remains

Desecrated, slashed, burned

To the ground.

In the frenzy of greed, cries of protest are drowned

The earth dies — ecocide!

The earth’s forests laid

Forever to waste.

Thoughts of the future trampled in their haste

Corporations with their dollar sign focus ravage the amazon

Like a plague of locusts.

Plumes of black smoke ascend into the sky

A forest of beautiful creatures senselessly dies

Smoking fields of devastation left in mankind’s wake

With populations left to grow and greed they justify this rape

(The power of the dollar) can’t take precedence

Over the inevetable detrimental

Consequence.

The time to react is long overdue

From protest to confrontation by me and by you

Silenziato nel ruggito delle fiamme

Dopo le urla ei moribondi, non resta più niente

Dissacrato, squarciato, bruciato

A terra.

Nella frenesia dell'avidità, le grida di protesta vengono soffocate

La terra muore: ecocidio!

Le foreste della terra posate

Per sempre da sprecare.

I pensieri del futuro calpestati nella loro fretta

Le aziende con il loro focus sul segno del dollaro devastano l'Amazzonia

Come una piaga di locuste.

Pennacchi di fumo nero salgono verso il cielo

Una foresta di belle creature muore senza senso

Campi fumanti di devastazione lasciati sulla scia dell'umanità

Con le popolazioni lasciate a crescere e l'avidità giustificano questo stupro

(Il potere del dollaro) non può avere la precedenza

Oltre l'inevitabile dannoso

Conseguenza.

Il tempo per reagire è atteso da tempo

Dalla protesta al confronto da parte di me e di te
