Cruciform - Enterprise Earth

I spend my last day on earth enjoying the last bit of beauty it has to offer.

Sitting in the sunlight as the final nails are hammered into my coffin.

I accept my fate of damnation.

I await it with anticipation.

The crows perch on the trees above,

as if they could preconceive the spilling of my blood.

When I look into their faces.

I see the empty spaces.

The crows tore out their eyes.

Torn out before they could die.

My father had prepared a place for me.

Nailed to the wood of a rotting tree.

Placed upon my head.

A crown of thorns.

All hail the king of the dead.

The fury of god strikes down upon the earth.

Marking the beginning of the planet’s rebirth.

Trascorro il mio ultimo giorno sulla terra godendomi l'ultimo pezzo di bellezza che ha da offrire.

Seduto alla luce del sole mentre gli ultimi chiodi vengono piantati nella mia bara.

Accetto il mio destino di dannazione.

Lo aspetto con trepidazione.

I corvi si appollaiano sugli alberi sopra,

come se potessero prevedere lo spargimento del mio sangue.

Quando li guardo in faccia.

Vedo gli spazi vuoti.

I corvi si strapparono gli occhi.

Strappati prima che potessero morire.

Mio padre aveva preparato un posto per me.

Inchiodato al legno di un albero in decomposizione.

Posizionato sulla mia testa.

Una corona di spine.

Tutti salutano il re dei morti.

La furia di Dio si abbatte sulla terra.

Segna l'inizio della rinascita del pianeta.
