Face first into the new day

The lights are shining more

Than they ever gleamed before

Sweating swirling anxious as ever

The time it melts away

My nails grinding against floorboard

Pleading with it just to stay

My inaction become what define me

I feel pressure wearing me thin

Impatiently I’ll await the day

When these tidal waves settles again

I wish that I had more time

And could be everywhere at once

My apologies for the distance

I’ve placed many miles between us

But the only thing I’ve come to get comfort in

Is the progression

Of the restless souls

Onward to a further destination

And yes the future

Thought it’s dark from this perspective

When nothing will ever stay the same

And every dormant dream that I have imagined

Is brought to life but never as I planned

I want to drown in the daylight’s radiance

Let the morning sun into my skin

And feel the calm again

If only from the bright beginning

We were conditioned for the end

We’ve grown so self absorbed

As this life is ours eternally

We’ve grown so accustomed to settling down

And day to day

But this city moves forward with or without me

And everyone I love they are fading away

Thought it seems as if I’m sure

As if I weighed everything

I’ve decision that are haunting me

And I cannot evade

All I’ve ever known is blackness

Now even blackness fades

If I am the creator what is this void I have shaped

We always say, «I will be seeing you again.»

But what if that day never comes

Then I’ll be seeing you in the bitter end

But what if this life is all we’re ever meant to become

I always seems to let my thought destroy me from the inside out

It’s just a matter of time

Le luci brillano di più

Di quanto non abbiano mai brillato prima

Sudore vorticoso ansioso come sempre

Il tempo che si scioglie

Le mie unghie sfregano contro l'asse del pavimento

Implorando solo di restare

La mia inazione diventa ciò che mi definisce

Sento la pressione che mi logora

Con impazienza aspetterò il giorno

Quando queste onde di marea si calmano di nuovo

Vorrei avere più tempo

E potrebbe essere ovunque contemporaneamente

Mi scuso per la distanza

Ho messo molte miglia tra di noi

Ma l'unica cosa in cui sono venuto per trovare conforto

È la progressione

Delle anime inquiete

Prosegui verso un'altra destinazione

E sì il futuro

Ho pensato che fosse oscuro da questa prospettiva

Quando niente sarà più lo stesso

E ogni sogno dormiente che ho immaginato

Viene portato in vita ma mai come avevo pianificato

Voglio affogare nella luminosità del giorno

Lascia che il sole del mattino entri nella mia pelle

E senti di nuovo la calma

Se solo dall'inizio brillante

Siamo stati condizionati per la fine

Siamo diventati così assorbiti da noi stessi

Poiché questa vita è nostra per l'eternità

Ci siamo così abituati a sistemarci

E giorno per giorno

Ma questa città va avanti con o senza di me

E tutti quelli che amo stanno svanendo

Ho pensato che sembra se ne sono sicuro

Come se pesassi tutto

Ho una decisione che mi perseguita

E non posso eludere

Tutto quello che ho sempre conosciuto è l'oscurità

Ora anche l'oscurità svanisce

Se sono il creatore, cos'è questo vuoto che ho plasmato

Diciamo sempre: "Ci vediamo di nuovo".

Ma cosa accadrebbe se quel giorno non arrivasse mai

Allora ti vedrò a oltranza

Ma cosa accadrebbe se questa vita fosse tutto ciò che siamo destinati a diventare

Mi sembra sempre che il mio pensiero mi distrugga dall'interno

È solo una questione di tempo
