As long as it stays under the surface, it doesn’t seem to die.

When you hold resentment toward another,

you’re bound to that person or condition

by an emotional link that is stronger than steel.

Forgiveness comes at the moment where… we give up,

The moment it becomes more important for us to be free,

than it does to be right.

Quando lo ammettiamo all'esistenza;

Poi diventa parte di tutto il resto.

E questo significa che ha una nascita, una vita e una morte.

Finché resta sotto la superficie, non sembra morire.

Ricordi repressi.

Il perdono è rinunciare a ogni speranza per un passato migliore.

Quando provi risentimento verso un altro,

sei vincolato a quella persona o condizione

da un legame emotivo che è più forte dell'acciaio.

Il perdono arriva nel momento in cui... ci arrendiamo,

Nel momento in cui diventa più importante per noi essere liberi,

di quanto non sia giusto.

Sì, vuoi avere ragione o vuoi essere libero?
