I don’t know about tomorrow

I just live from day to day

I don’t borrow from it’s sunshine

For its skies may turn to grey

I don’t worry o’er the future

For I know what Jesus said

And today I’ll walk beside Him

For He knows what is ahead

Many things about tomorrow

I don’t seem to understand

But I know who holds tomorrow

And I know who holds my hand

Every step is getting brighter

As the golden stairs I climb

Every burden’s getting lighter

Every cloud is silver lined

There the sun is always shining

There no tear will dim the eye

At the ending of the rainbow

Where the mountains touch the sky

Many things about tomorrow

I don’t seem to understand

But I know who holds tomorrow

And I know who holds my hand

Non so per domani

Vivo solo giorno per giorno

Non prendo in prestito dal sole

Perché i suoi cieli potrebbero diventare grigi

Non mi preoccupo per il futuro

Perché so cosa disse Gesù

E oggi camminerò accanto a Lui

Perché Lui sa cosa c'è davanti

Molte cose sul domani

Non mi sembra di capire

Ma so chi tiene domani

Ogni passo diventa più luminoso

Come le scale dorate che salgo

Ogni fardello sta diventando più leggero

Ogni nuvola è foderata d'argento

Là il sole splende sempre

Là nessuna lacrima offuscherà l'occhio

Alla fine dell'arcobaleno

Dove le montagne toccano il cielo

Molte cose sul domani

Non mi sembra di capire

Ma so chi tiene domani

E so chi mi tiene per mano
