I feel my stomach turn as I hear the sloshing from inside

Extraneous innards reap throughout, the flesh beneath my own subsides

Every drip echoes through the chasm that was my mind

The labyrinth of introspection, strewn with remains of untold expanse and

ornamented with the love of the ones I can no longer know

Animate mementos adorn every turn and I am overwhelmed by stagnation with every

twist

Draped in what was, I navigate in search of what is

Drenched in the miasmal mist of my own laughter, I search through your insides

in hopes of finding my own

I couldn’t feel further from the clarity I seek, until I am consumed by the

beauty that you reek, as it drifts boundless around the mess I have made
