'cause I had a few of you in mind when I started to write this

Dunno what the difference between wrong and right is

So I’ll keep writing 'til I got arthritis

Walking through crossroads and intersections

But I’ll never stray, I’ve kept the same aim

Since the very first day, but let me say

Life’s tough with no-one to support ya

Got a lot on my plate, this ain’t what I ordered

So take it back, I hate the fact

You hear it different to me when you play my track (oh)

I laid it down with such a vision

But you keep making incisions in my ambitions

Do I bite the bait or let 'em keep fishing

Do I throw my penny in or forget about wishing

'cause if we don’t know the outcome

How can we judge?

How can we tell someone

That they won’t make it some day

Time flies, I gotta find my wings

Money talks, talk is cheap, this must be why I’m skint

And it ain’t all about the money

But I think it’s kinda funny 'cause I need money to buy my things

These days we’re taught not to get caught up in the hype

Yet TVs broadcast these stars every night

And we’re sat there, lapping it up

Inspired by the glamour and buzz and everything the camera does

So many people give up, you go insane as an artist

So many people quit and they ain’t even started

Modern day slaves, we fiend for some freedom

Open your eyes, you’ll see we dream for a reason

The path is rough but yo, you can’t give up

You’re a fighter, make sure your guard is up

Protect your corner, by any means necessary

You don’t have to die to become legendary

I know it’s upsetting when it gets slow

Know the highs are so far from the lows

Know it’s hard to stay strong

But you gotta carry on

'cause if we don’t know the outcome

How can we judge?

If we can make minds up

Some people support, some try to break spines

People hate shine and would rather block out the daylight

Testing us as if we’re trying to pass

Still tryna figure out how they knew

Il tempo vola, devo trovare le mie ali

Il denaro parla, parlare è economico, questo deve essere il motivo per cui sono magro

E non si tratta solo di soldi

Ma penso che sia piuttosto divertente perché ho bisogno di soldi per comprare le mie cose

In questi giorni ci viene insegnato a non farci prendere dall'hype

Eppure i televisori trasmettono queste stelle ogni notte

E siamo seduti lì, a leccarlo

Ispirato dal glamour, dal brusio e da tutto ciò che fa la fotocamera

Così molte persone si arrendono, diventi pazzo come artista

Così molte persone hanno smesso e non hanno nemmeno iniziato

Schiavi dei giorni nostri, desideriamo un po' di libertà

Apri gli occhi, vedrai che sogniamo per un motivo

Il percorso è difficile ma non puoi arrenderti

Sei un combattente, assicurati che la tua guardia sia alzata

Proteggi il tuo angolo, con ogni mezzo necessario

Non devi morire per diventare leggendario

So che è sconvolgente quando diventa lento

Sappi che i massimi sono così lontani dai minimi

Sappi che è difficile rimanere forti

Ma devi andare avanti

perché se non conosciamo il risultato

Come possiamo giudicare?

Se non siamo stati nel futuro

Come possiamo dirlo a qualcuno

Che non ce la faranno un giorno

E devo prendere il volo

Non puoi tenere le lancette dell'orologio, ci vuole tempo

Allora creo la mente

Alcune persone supportano, altre cercano di spezzare la spina dorsale

Le persone odiano brillare e preferiscono bloccare la luce del giorno

Mettendoci alla prova come se stessimo cercando di passare

Ti tratterranno come un massaggio

Per tutta la mia vita, la gente mi ha detto di no
