For centuries roaming among these beams

My ghostly voice haunting and whistling through the trees

Rarely seen but always my presence felt

A lonely soul trapped between life and death, condemned to dwell

In this wood my spirit shall stay

Until time will take this forest away

A man of war, wearied and battle-stained

Then came my fate, by an arrow felled but here remained

A sorry heart, my thoughts my only friend

Wandering on, and I fear my pain will never end

Some say they’ve seen me floating from tree to tree

Hooded and clad in green, shrouded in mystery

Some say they’ve heard me singing my mournful song

Crying for anyone to set my spirit free

In this wood my spirit shall stay

Per secoli vagando tra questi raggi

La mia voce spettrale che ossessiona e fischia tra gli alberi

Raramente visto ma sempre la mia presenza si sentiva

Un'anima solitaria intrappolata tra la vita e la morte, condannata a dimorare

In questo bosco resterà il mio spirito

Finché il tempo non porterà via questa foresta

Un uomo di guerra, stanco e macchiato di battaglia

Poi è venuto il mio destino, da una freccia abbattuta ma qui è rimasto

Un cuore dispiaciuto, i miei pensieri, il mio unico amico

Vago e temo che il mio dolore non finirà mai

Alcuni dicono di avermi visto fluttuare da un albero all'altro

Incappucciato e vestito di verde, avvolto nel mistero

Alcuni dicono di avermi sentito cantare la mia canzone triste

Piangere perché qualcuno possa liberare il mio spirito
