Grey - Hindsights

I’m awake, I’m scared, it’s way too early for this.

Heaven won’t accept me, with the thoughts in my head.

Waking up used to be so easy.

Now the cold sweats keep me from leaving.

I’m at the point now were sunlight fails to pull me out of my bed.

I used to be a morning person, now my bed sheets hold my worries.

Cracks in bedroom curtains seep grey light through darkened windows

This cloud’s silver lining is rusting in front of me.

Sono sveglio, ho paura, è troppo presto per questo.

Il paradiso non mi accetterà, con i pensieri nella testa.

Svegliarsi era così facile.

Ora i sudori freddi mi impediscono di partire.

Sono al punto in cui la luce del sole non riesce a tirarmi fuori dal letto.

Ero una persona mattiniera, ora le mie lenzuola racchiudono le mie preoccupazioni.

Le crepe nelle tende della camera da letto filtrano la luce grigia attraverso le finestre oscurate

Il rivestimento d'argento di questa nuvola si sta arrugginendo di fronte a me.
