It’s not the night,

It’s in between.

That and the day are wrenched apart.

The knives are out,

And so it seems,

The lightest souls are truly dark.

The dark is all around me.

I feel it everywhere.

From every stuttered heartbeat,

To every upraised hair.

Because you know, what you know,

But what you know, isn’t true.

E così sembra

Lo sento ovunque.
