Blueprint - Illogic

I haven’t even really prepared what I’m gonna say

I just wanna step up here and talk freely, speak freely about my cat, Illogic,

and his project by the name of Unforeseen Shadows

I want everybody out there to realize that this is no run-of-the-mill

This is no haphazard attempt at making an album or a collection of songs

This is genuine music, conceptualized, driven by the team of Blueprint and

Illogic

Blueprint on production, myself

And Illogic on the rhymes and Illogic on the concepts

I want a lot of people, if you out there making music, to listen to this

If you half-steppin', you really need to listen to this

This goes out to everybody who slept on my man, Illogic

And all the trials and tribulations we had to go through just to finish this

project and finish it on time

‘cause it’s a lot of people out there talking

It’s a lot of people out there claim they got beats and rhymes

But it ain’t a lot of people who can put together something like this

So if you out there sleepin', I want you to wake up

If this is the end of the album and you already into it then you know,

you know it’s bangin' already

And if you just pickin' it up, then you about to find out on the reals how we

do it

Non ho nemmeno davvero preparato quello che dirò

Voglio solo salire qui e parlare liberamente, parlare liberamente del mio gatto, Illogic,

e il suo progetto dal nome di Ombre impreviste

Voglio che tutti là fuori si rendano conto che non si tratta di una routine

Questo non è un tentativo casuale di creare un album o una raccolta di brani

Questa è musica genuina, concettualizzata, guidata dal team di Blueprint e

Illogico

Progetto sulla produzione, io stesso

E Illogic sulle rime e Illogic sui concetti

Voglio che molte persone, se sei là fuori a fare musica, ascoltino questo

Se fai un mezzo passo, devi davvero ascoltare questo

Questo vale per tutti coloro che hanno dormito sul mio uomo, Illogic

E tutte le prove e le tribolazioni che abbiamo dovuto affrontare solo per finire questo

progetto e finiscilo in tempo

perché ci sono molte persone là fuori che parlano

Sono molte le persone là fuori che affermano di avere ritmi e rime

Ma non sono molte le persone che possono mettere insieme qualcosa del genere

Quindi, se sei là fuori a dormire, voglio che ti svegli

Se questa è la fine dell'album e ci sei già dentro allora sai,

sai che sta già sbattendo

E se solo lo raccogli, allora stai per scoprire come siamo

fallo

Senza peso, vedi cosa sto dicendo?
