Another sleepless night

Snow starts to fall between dead branches

Outside, in the winding avenues

The happiness I couldn’t find

I watch the looming homes in the distance, lighting up the contours of the

darkened hills.

It reminds me of my loneliness

A longing starts to swell in my eyes, and through these tears, I can barely see

what has been passing me by.

I have just failed too many times and I wish…

I could have been better… I thought I could give more… I should of became

something else.

I guess this apathy is a pathetic form of self-defeat.

And I can only watch this sad life slip through my fingers

I am fading in these streets, everything is turning to ash, I drink every night,

hoping to forget… because this fleeting existence aches.

Harassed by

sleeplessness, grasping at every mirage, trying so hard to fill this immense

emptiness.

But because I am an ugly human… I know how this will end… I know.

Un'altra notte insonne

La neve inizia a cadere tra i rami secchi

Fuori, nei viali tortuosi

La felicità che non riuscivo a trovare

Guardo le case incombenti in lontananza, illuminando i contorni del

colline oscurate.

Mi ricorda la mia solitudine

Un desiderio inizia a gonfiarsi nei miei occhi e, attraverso queste lacrime, riesco a malapena a vedere

cosa mi è passato accanto.

Ho solo fallito troppe volte e vorrei...

Avrei potuto essere migliore... pensavo di poter dare di più... avrei dovuto diventare

qualcos'altro.

Immagino che questa apatia sia una forma patetica di sconfitta personale.

E posso solo guardare questa triste vita scivolare tra le mie dita

Sto svanendo in queste strade, tutto si sta trasformando in cenere, bevo tutte le sere,

sperando di dimenticare... perché questa fugace esistenza fa male.

Molestato da

insonnia, aggrappandosi a ogni miraggio, cercando così duramente di riempire questo immenso

vuoto.

Ma poiché sono un brutto essere umano... so come andrà a finire... lo so.
