So I could feel like stones in a statue

The imagery’s effected by the glow

They don’t seem to understand that there’s nothing in space

And when they fall back to earth it’s finally when they realize

That the only truth they’ve been living is real lies

They stand still with conviction

Llike a monument that’s having trouble thinking

But when the light fades

That’s the only time they ever see the right way

When the walls cave in and the statues fall down

Maybe that’s when everyone will see a slight change

These statues are carved out in a town where everybody is cold
