The Story of D - Jerusalem

Long time ago, there was this king,

Prideful and blind, it’s a dangerous thing

They made an idol of him…

Licking up, kicking down…

They surrounded him…

Just like we use to, just who we are…

We kind of do so, in whatever palace we’re in

Then there was this unusual guy, and I named him D

He was different from the rest, and his heart was free

They told him, follow the stream now, make a shortcut to your dream

And win the world now, and lose your soul for this scheme…

So they through D in the lions den,

And they said he’ll never be back again…

Tanto tempo fa, c'era questo re,

Orgoglioso e cieco, è una cosa pericolosa

Ne hanno fatto un idolo...

Leccare, calciare...

Lo circondarono...

Proprio come siamo abituati, proprio chi siamo...

In un certo senso lo facciamo, in qualsiasi palazzo ci troviamo

Poi c'era questo ragazzo insolito e l'ho chiamato D

Era diverso dagli altri e il suo cuore era libero

Gli hanno detto, segui lo stream ora, crea una scorciatoia per il tuo sogno

E vinci il mondo ora, e perdi la tua anima per questo schema...

Così hanno attraversato D nella fossa dei leoni,

E hanno detto che non tornerà mai più...
