God chose us in his Son

To be his adopted children

Praised be the God and Father

For our Lord Jesus Christ

Who has bestowed on us in Christ

Every spiritual blessing in the heavens

God chose us in him

Before the world began

To be holy

And blameless in his sight

He predestined us

To be his adopted sons through Jesus Christ

Such was his will and pleasure

That all might praise the glorious favor

He has bestowed on us in his beloved

In him and through his blood

We have been redeemed

And our sins forgiven

So immeasurably generous

Is God’s favor to us

God has given us the wisdom

To understand fully the mystery

The plan he was pleased

To decree in Christ

A plan to be carried

In Christ, in the fulness of time

To bring all things into one in him

In the heavens and on earth

Glory to the Father

And to the Son

And to the Holy Spirit

As it was in the beginning

Is now

And will be for ever

Amen

Essere i suoi figli adottivi

Sia lodato Dio e Padre

Per nostro Signore Gesù Cristo

Chi ci ha donato in Cristo

Ogni benedizione spirituale nei cieli

Dio ci ha scelti in lui

Prima che il mondo iniziasse

Per essere santi

E irreprensibile ai suoi occhi

Ci ha predestinati

Essere i suoi figli adottivi tramite Gesù Cristo

Tale era la sua volontà e il suo piacere

Che tutti possano lodare il glorioso favore

Ci ha donato nella sua amata

In lui e attraverso il suo sangue

Siamo stati riscattati

E i nostri peccati perdonati

Così incommensurabilmente generoso

È il favore di Dio per noi

Dio ci ha dato la saggezza

Per comprendere appieno il mistero

Il piano era soddisfatto

Decretare in Cristo

Un piano da portare a termine

In Cristo, nella pienezza del tempo

Per riunire tutte le cose in una in lui

Nei cieli e sulla terra

Gloria al Padre

E al Figlio

E allo Spirito Santo

Come era all'inizio

È ora

E lo sarà per sempre
