Two Sides to the Story - K Rino

The last thing that I’ve remembered I was reading a book

I was standing in the corner store just waiting in line

Woke up laying on the gurney disoriented and shook

A young gangsta walked in the door holding a nine

Five shadows stood over me one read me the rules

He left one worker in the closet bound and gag

The other four dispersed then started grabbing surgical tools

He told the cashier to clear the rack and fill up the bag

I felt heavily sedated but still I was scared

He was driving a black Coop parked out front of the place

Wanted to talk but my ability to speak was impaired

He did a double take and came back when he looked at my face

A laser lacerated my skull but I felt no pain

He ran out and smashed the gas like he was trying to break it

A tube drained and extract the chemicals from my brain

I untie the dude and bailed out just happy to make it

Out-of-body experience my conscience withdrew

The cops showed up my mind still be playing the images

I’m watching them operate on me from an overhead view

They questioned me before I was able to exit the premises

Seconds later I was home still feeling an anesthesia

Of course yo boy didn’t say nothing though they question me well

I don’t know what they did but I was weakened by the procedure

Besides that they had masks on so it was nothing to tell

Somebody’s beating on my front door it’s my girl in a rage

When I went back to the hood I ain’t mention the heist

Crying asking me where I been cuz she ain’t seen me in days

The boys had already found out the previous night

I gave her a roll of tissue and said «What's your issue?»

I got a call on my house phone a block number at noon

«What the hell you mean days?

I just hung out with you!»

They said «I know you talked to the laws, man I’ll get with you soon.»

As we debated I felt weaker so she sat beside me

Before I could explain they hung the phone up quick

She said «We talked last Tuesday K, today is Friday.»

Now I’m a target in my own hood for no reason I’m sick

I said «Yeah, Tuesday the 25th is the date»

Well if it’s war then I guess it’s gon be war that’s the biz

But when I checked my calendar it said Friday the 28th

The worse part was not knowing who the enemy is

I sent her home still trying to account for the lost time

I withdrew from everybody even family and friends

The experience I had instantly cross my mind

I’m trusting no man or woman the paranoia kicks in

Later that night I went to sleep and one or two hours in

I’m tripping hard staying up all night stressed out

I found myself in the process of being abducted again

Jumping every time I hear a strange sound in the house

They repeated the same process and entered my head

Should I move?

Change my number?

I don’t know what to do

But this time somehow I heard every word that they said

My mama let me know that they been calling her house too

One of them said «This is the last session.»

and typed in a code

Could this be real, or this somebody joking or bluffing?

And inserted a blue microscopic cranial probe

If I could just let them know that I ain’t tell the police nothing

As I struggled to talk the monitor started blinking

One week after the robbery I’m just chilling at home

And on the screen was printed out every word I was thinking

Scared to put my people in this so I’m mobbing alone

I thought «Why?»

as my body laid in stabilization

Somebody knocked on my front door so I looked through the blinds

One of them said «We need your brain waves to produce our nation.»

Whatever gon happened I’m ready for it now is the time

«Our civilization’s endangered that’s why we have you here»

I snatched the door open but didn’t recognize this man

«We been abducting you on and all for the last two years.»

He was with two dudes one of them had some gloves on his hands

«We duplicated your whole mind the entire infinite tree.»

I said «Let me tell you what happened, and please refrain…»

«Our people breathe thru intellect not physical intimacy.»

«If yall gon take me out at least give me a chance to explain.»

I said «Man if I could save a whole planet then let it be.»

They said, «It's nothin to explain, homie, we already know.»

«Especially if their mental propensity is like me.»

«It's all good, I’m the young G that robbed the store.»

They emerged from the shadows a princess and a prince

And even though you couldn’t see my face you still didn’t rat

They sent me back home that second and I ain’t heard from them since

We used the cash to flip a bigger lick here’s ten G’s black.

L'ultima cosa che ho ricordato è stata la lettura di un libro

Ero in piedi nel negozio all'angolo e aspettavo in fila

Mi sono svegliato sdraiato sulla barella disorientato e tremante

Un giovane gangsta è entrato dalla porta con in mano un nove

Cinque ombre stavano sopra di me, una mi leggeva le regole

Ha lasciato un lavoratore nell'armadio legato e imbavagliato

Gli altri quattro dispersi hanno quindi iniziato ad afferrare strumenti chirurgici

Ha detto al cassiere di svuotare lo scaffale e riempire la borsa

Mi sentivo fortemente sedato, ma avevo comunque paura

Stava guidando una Coop nera parcheggiata davanti al locale

Volevo parlare ma la mia capacità di parlare era compromessa

Ha fatto una doppia ripresa ed è tornato quando ha guardato la mia faccia

Un laser mi ha lacerato il cranio ma non ho sentito dolore

È finito e ha rotto il gas come se stesse cercando di romperlo

Un tubo drenato ed estrarre le sostanze chimiche dal mio cervello

Sciolgo il tizio e me ne vado solo felice di farcela

Esperienza extracorporea la mia coscienza si è ritirata

I poliziotti hanno mostrato che la mia mente continuava a riprodurre le immagini

Li sto guardando agire su di me da una vista dall'alto

Mi hanno interrogato prima che potessi uscire dai locali

Pochi secondi dopo ero a casa ancora sentendo un'anestesia

Ovviamente il tuo ragazzo non ha detto nulla anche se mi hanno interrogato bene

Non so cosa abbiano fatto, ma ero indebolito dalla procedura

Oltre a ciò avevano le maschere quindi non c'era niente da dire

Qualcuno sta bussando alla mia porta d'ingresso è la mia ragazza infuriata

Quando sono tornato al cofano non ho menzionato la rapina

Piangendomi chiedendomi dove sono stato perché non mi vedeva da giorni

I ragazzi lo avevano già scoperto la sera prima

Le ho dato un rotolo di fazzoletto e le ho detto: "Qual è il tuo problema?"

Ho ricevuto una chiamata sul telefono di casa a un numero di blocco a mezzogiorno

«Che diavolo vuoi dire giorni?

Sono appena uscito con te!»

Dissero: "So che hai parlato con le leggi, amico, verrò presto con te".

Mentre discutevamo, mi sentivo più debole, quindi si sedette accanto a me

Prima che potessi spiegare, hanno riattaccato il telefono rapidamente

Ha detto "Abbiamo parlato lo scorso martedì K, oggi è venerdì".

Ora sono un obiettivo nella mia cappa senza motivo per cui sono malato

Ho detto «Sì, martedì 25 è la data»

Bene, se è la guerra, allora suppongo che sarà la guerra, questo è il business

Ma quando ho controllato il mio calendario, diceva venerdì 28

La parte peggiore era non sapere chi fosse il nemico

L'ho mandata a casa cercando ancora di rendere conto del tempo perso

Mi sono ritirato da tutti anche dalla famiglia e dagli amici

L'esperienza che ho avuto all'istante mi è passata per la mente

Non mi fido di nessun uomo o donna, la paranoia entra in gioco

Più tardi quella notte sono andato a dormire e una o due ore dopo

Sto inciampando duramente stando sveglio tutta la notte stressato

Mi sono ritrovato in procinto di essere rapito di nuovo

Saltando ogni volta che sento uno strano suono in casa

Hanno ripetuto lo stesso processo e sono entrati nella mia testa

Devo spostarmi?

Cambiare il mio numero?

Io non so cosa fare

Ma questa volta in qualche modo ho sentito ogni parola che hanno detto

Mia mamma mi ha fatto sapere che hanno chiamato anche a casa sua

Uno di loro ha detto: "Questa è l'ultima sessione".

e digitato un codice

Potrebbe essere reale o questo qualcuno che scherza o bluffa?

E ha inserito una sonda cranica microscopica blu

Se solo potessi far loro sapere che non dico niente alla polizia

Mentre facevo fatica a parlare, il monitor ha iniziato a lampeggiare

Una settimana dopo la rapina mi sto solo rilassando a casa

E sullo schermo è stata stampata ogni parola che stavo pensando

Ho paura di mettere la mia gente in questo, quindi sono solo mobbing

Ho pensato: "Perché?"

mentre il mio corpo si stabilizzava

Qualcuno ha bussato alla mia porta d'ingresso, quindi ho guardato attraverso le persiane

Uno di loro ha detto: "Abbiamo bisogno delle tue onde cerebrali per produrre la nostra nazione".

Qualunque cosa sia successa, sono pronto per questo ora è il momento

«La nostra civiltà è in pericolo, ecco perché ti abbiamo qui»

Ho aperto la porta ma non ho riconosciuto quest'uomo

«Ti abbiamo rapito in tutto e per tutto negli ultimi due anni.»

Era con due tizi, uno dei quali aveva dei guanti sulle mani

«Abbiamo duplicato tutta la tua mente l'intero albero infinito.»

Ho detto «Lascia che ti dica cosa è successo, e per favore astenersi...»

«La nostra gente respira attraverso l'intelletto, non l'intimità fisica.»

«Se mi porterete fuori almeno, dammi la possibilità di spiegarmi.»

Dissi: "Uomo, se posso salvare un intero pianeta, allora lascia che sia".

Dissero: "Non c'è niente da spiegare, amico, lo sappiamo già".

«Soprattutto se la loro propensione mentale è come me.»

«Va tutto bene, sono il giovane G che ha rapinato il negozio.»

Emersero dall'ombra una principessa e un principe

E anche se non riuscivi a vedere la mia faccia, non hai fatto il ratto

Mi hanno rimandato a casa quel secondo e da allora non li ho più sentiti

Abbiamo usato i soldi per lanciare una leccata più grande ecco dieci G nere.
