Breakfast - K's Choice

I woke up between dawn and night

Thought I heard the voice of Mommy

Sounds as if my parents have a fight

So I woke up my brother lying next to me

I wonder why she’s making all that noise

Better go and check it out

So without trying to breathe only the sound of little feet

We were about to discover what that noise was all about

And as we opened up the door

We saw them lying on the kitchen floor

We were grateful for they both did their best

But we said 'Hey, there must be an easier way to make break fast'

They both got up real fast

As if they were caught (or something)

And then we understood at last

It was a surprise breakfast they were planning

Mommy stumbled, 'Later, kids, you’ll understand'

While Daddy was busy putting on his pants

We said 'We already do, don’t worry, we’ll do the rest'

So far for our quest, we made coffee, boiled eggs

We made them breakfast

Mi sono svegliato tra l'alba e la notte

Pensavo di aver sentito la voce di mamma

Sembra che i miei genitori abbiano litigato

Così ho svegliato mio fratello sdraiato accanto a me

Mi chiedo perché sta facendo tutto quel rumore

Meglio andare a dare un'occhiata

Quindi senza cercare di respirare solo il suono dei piedini

Stavamo per scoprire in cosa consisteva quel rumore

E mentre abbiamo aperto la porta

Li abbiamo visti sdraiati sul pavimento della cucina

Siamo stati grati per entrambi hanno fatto del loro meglio

Ma abbiamo detto "Ehi, ci deve essere un modo più semplice per fare una pausa veloce"

Si sono alzati entrambi molto velocemente

Come se fossero stati catturati (o qualcosa del genere)

E poi abbiamo finalmente capito

Stavano pianificando una colazione a sorpresa

La mamma inciampò: "Più tardi, ragazzi, capirete"

Mentre papà era impegnato a mettersi i pantaloni

Abbiamo detto "Lo stiamo già facendo, non preoccuparti, il resto lo faremo noi"

Finora, per la nostra ricerca, abbiamo preparato caffè, uova sode

Gli abbiamo preparato la colazione
