View through my lenses are just shades of blue

Can’t figure out what the fuck K should do

Lace the food or grace the wood or

Chase the good 'fore the lazy could score

Amazed and floored that this maze of 'more

Could blaze my core and raise my boar

Days ashore and waste departs

Waste of hearts or was it waste of arms

Raised my guards 'til i was hazed and warped

Mind playing tricks so i stayed braced and morphed

Now the days contort 'til i can’t stay afloat

This cloud keeps on burning my eyes and throat

I choke, awoke and keep up the backstroke

Things ain’t lookin' bright and I’ve always lacked hope

Back here again starin' into the mirror

Life’s 'posed to be sweet, all i get its what’s bitter

View through my lenses are just shades of blue

Can’t get it straight man i’m stuck in this loop

Tried to write my truth, came out light and loose

Tried to light my fuse but got stuck in the sleuth

The ruse i keep close to my goals

Is to take the heat off when i miss all the rolls

So when i fold all i hold i can shrug and go, fair

It ain’t like i expected success so why should i care

Sometimes i feel close to the other side

Just to turn around since it all seems like a lie

Change ain’t real it’s just wishful thinking

In a whirlpool of hate all you do is vicious sinking

Bristled and limping, ye that’s me

In my own story i don’t even play the lead

Back here again starin' into the mirror
