Governments are conservative, taxes are rising, and wages are falling

People are scared, they’re petrified

The power buys a shilling’s worth, a full tank costs an arm and a leg

Houses aren’t even safe houses any more people aren’t safe in their own homes

14 year old kids getting murdered on the street

ASBO kids binge drinking on park benches till all hours in the morning

Can’t even get on the bus anymore, they take up the whole back row listening to

that «hip hop» and «grime» noise they call music, off their faces on MDMA,

meow-meow, whatever they can get their thieving little hands on

All of that while teenage pregnancy rises through the roof

We know things are bad, worse than bad, THEY’RE CRAZY!

And all you do is sit there in your open-plan living rooms talking to absolute

strangers on Facebook and you wonder why your young sons and daughters aspire

to be celebrities, football players and WAGs, its madness

It seems like you’ve given up, but I’m not going to let you give up,

I want you to get mad!

Non ho bisogno di dirti cose al riguardo, tutti ne sanno qualcosa,

I governi sono conservatori, le tasse aumentano e i salari diminuiscono

Le persone hanno paura, sono pietrificate

Il potere compra uno scellino, un serbatoio pieno costa un braccio e una gamba

Le case non sono nemmeno più case sicure, più le persone non sono al sicuro nelle proprie case

Ragazzi di 14 anni uccisi per strada

I bambini ASBO si abbuffano sulle panchine del parco fino a tutte le ore del mattino

Non possono nemmeno più salire sull'autobus, occupano l'intera ultima fila ad ascoltare

quel rumore «hip hop» e «sporco» che chiamano musica, a bocca aperta sull'MDMA,

meow-meow, qualunque cosa su cui riescano a mettere le loro manine ladri

Tutto ciò mentre la gravidanza adolescenziale sale alle stelle

Sappiamo che le cose vanno male, peggio che male, SONO PAZZE!

E tutto ciò che fai è stare seduto nei tui soggiorni a pianta aperta parlando con assoluto

estranei su Facebook e ti chiedi perché i tuoi figli e le tue figlie giovani aspirano

essere celebrità, giocatori di football e WAG, la sua follia

Sembra che tu ti sia arreso, ma non ti lascerò arrendere,

Voglio che ti arrabbi!
