I woke up this morning

Didn’t recognize the man in the mirror

Then I laughed and I said, «Oh silly me, that’s just me»

Then I proceeded to brush some stranger’s teeth

But they were my teeth, and I was weightless

Just quivering like some leaf come in the window of a restroom

I couldn’t tell you what the hell it was supposed to mean

But it was a Monday, no a Tuesday, no Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Then Saturday came around and I said «Who's this stupid clown blocking the

bathroom sink?»

All he ever wanted was to be someone in life that was just like

All I want is to just have fun

Live my life like a son of a gun

I could be one thousand miles away but still mean what I say

Then I woke up one morning

But he was sporting all my clothes

I gotta say I’m pretty pimpin

But he was always a little too cute to be admitted under marbles lost

He was always a thousand miles away while still standing in front of your face

Mi sono svegliato questa mattina

Non ho riconosciuto l'uomo nello specchio

Poi risi e dissi: «Oh, stupido, sono solo io»

Poi ho provveduto a lavare i denti a uno sconosciuto

Ma erano i miei denti e io ero senza peso

Proprio tremante come una foglia che entra dalla finestra di un bagno

Non saprei dirti cosa diavolo avrebbe dovuto significare

Ma era un lunedì, non un martedì, non un mercoledì, giovedì, venerdì

Poi è arrivato sabato e ho detto: «Chi è questo stupido pagliaccio che blocca il

lavandino del bagno?"

Tutto ciò che ha sempre desiderato era essere qualcuno nella vita che fosse proprio come

Tutto quello che voglio è divertirmi

Vivi la mia vita come un figlio di una pistola

Potrei essere a mille miglia di distanza, ma intendo comunque quello che dico

Poi mi sono svegliato una mattina

Non ho riconosciuto l'uomo nello specchio

Poi risi e dissi: «Oh, stupido, sono solo io»

Poi ho proceduto a non pettinare i capelli di qualche estraneo

Non è mai stato il mio stile

Ma non saprei dirti cosa diavolo avrebbe dovuto significare

Perché era un lunedì, non un martedì, non un mercoledì, giovedì, venerdì

Poi è arrivato sabato e ho detto: «Chi è questo stupido pagliaccio che blocca il

lavandino del bagno?"

Ma stava sfoggiando tutti i miei vestiti

Devo dire che sono piuttosto magnaccia

Tutto ciò che ha sempre desiderato era essere un uomo

Ma era sempre un po' troppo carino per essere ammesso sotto le biglie perse

Era sempre a mille miglia di distanza mentre era ancora in piedi davanti alla tua faccia

Poi si è svegliato questa mattina

Non ho riconosciuto il ragazzo nello specchio

Poi rise e disse: «Oh sciocco, sono solo io»

Poi ho provveduto a lavare i denti a uno sconosciuto
