Eating sweet after sweet,

Though we know all too well where that may lead.

So this box was designed

With the two of us in mind

As the kind of reminder we need.

When you raise the lid, the music plays

Like a disapproving nod.

And it sings in your ear:

«No more candy, my dear!»

In a way, it’s a little like the voice of God.

Quindi questa scatola è stata progettata

Pensando a noi due

Come il tipo di promemoria di cui abbiamo bisogno.

Quando alzi il coperchio, la musica parte

Come un cenno di disapprovazione.

E canta nel tuo orecchio:

«Niente più caramelle, mia cara!»

In un certo senso, è un po' come la voce di Dio.
